Isle of Rowlyria
    Yesterday while I was looking around for something to do I came across the Isle of Rowlyria Pride hunt. the premise of it was something that I haven't seen before, but its been a while since I have had to time do a hunt, and Id just written a blog post about remembering to have fun... so I decided to heed my own advise and head down to Rowlyria.

    When you land in Rowlyria you are greeted by this cute little village square. This immediately put a smile on my face. I suspect that perhaps it is a little extra colorful right now for PRIDE, but even without the decorations it is still a sweet welcoming area.


Hunt Info

     While walking around this picturesque sim I was refreshed with the amount of time and the thoughtfulness that was put into the placement of each item. Beautifully crafted paths through winding woods with fun unexpected things around each corner. Stunning waterfalls, rocky ponds and small winding rivers can be found throughout.

As you emerge from the wooded pathways you find yourself on a beautiful beach, with both rocky outposts and soft sandy places to catch some sun. It feels very peaceful.. I may have stayed for a few hours after I completed the hunt, and gone back for a few more hours today to do this blog post. The beaches surround the Isle of Rowlyria so there are many places to set up your chair for the day!

    One thing I was not expecting, though I don't know who would expect this; is the cave of butterflies! Just off one of the paths there is this amazing cave with what has to be thousands of butterflies. A beautiful blue butterfly has made this cave its home and they cover the walls and flutter about endlessly. There are so many there is a soft hum of their wings pushing air keeping them afloat.

    If you haven't yet gather a group of friends and head to the Isle of Rowlria. Maybe this place has been around for ages, and I have been a bad explorer in not finding it sooner, but now I have done my part in spreading the word!
